Founding Partner

Didi Melchior is a founding partner at Lapidot, Melchior, Abramovich & Co. and leads the firm’s commercial law, high-tech, and litigation practices, while also maintaining a strong focus on advising developers in urban renewal projects.

Didi has more than two decades of experience representing Israeli and international clients in complex transactions, commercial disputes, and large-scale strategic projects.

Practice Areas:

  • Commercial Transactions: Advising on mergers and acquisitions, investments in high-tech and advanced technology companies, joint ventures, project financing, intellectual property licensing, and international sales and distribution arrangements.
  • Corporate Advisory: Providing ongoing legal advice to boards of directors, management teams, and corporate officers across a wide range of industries.
  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Representing corporations, entrepreneurs, shareholders, and corporate officers in litigation and arbitration involving investments, financing transactions, securities matters, directors’ liability, shareholder disputes, and other complex corporate and commercial conflicts.
  • Urban Renewal: Advising developers throughout the full lifecycle of urban renewal projects—from early planning and agreements with apartment owners, through negotiations with financing institutions and construction partners, to project implementation and apartment sales. This work also includes transactions involving project acquisitions, investments, and partnership structures.

In addition to his legal practice, Didi serves on the board of the Legus International Network of Law Firms, of which the firm is a member. He is also an active military reserve officer in the Israeli Navy, holding the rank of Colonel (Res.).

Outside the office, Didi enjoys long-distance running—preferably in nature—listening to history podcasts, spending time with his family, and cooking.
